The protection against unwinding consists of a strip covered with a protective layer divided into sectors being attached to at least one surface of the packaging. Waxed paper, aluminum foil, parchment paper, PVC foil, or transparent foil are used as protective layers. The strip can be made using spraying, gluing, or application technology, including layering, a double-sided adhesive strip, or a merging strip. The sectors are rectangular, square, circular, or trapezoidal in shape. The protection method works by attaching, preferably sticking, one of the surfaces of a double-sided self-adhesive strip, covered with a protective protective layer divided into peelable sectors, to at least one of the surfaces of the packaging, and then peeling off the protective protective layer from at least one of the sectors, and the part of the packaging emptied of the substance from the end of the packaging seal is bent in the direction of the substance outflow, i.e. towards the channel and/or channels for the substance outflow, preferably a cap, and sticking the part of the packaging emptied of the substance to the strip in place of the peeled off sector of the protective protective layer, while the actions described above are repeated many times until the packaging is completely emptied of the substance. The design's advantage is the full utilization of the product contained within the packaging, due to the ability to regularly squeeze out its contents, and the packaging itself looks aesthetically pleasing during use. The anti-unwind feature can be used in flexible packaging, including tubes, packaging used for toothpaste, adhesives, gels, ointments, food products, technical pastes, and other soft products, where it serves to prevent the empty portion of the packaging from unwinding and the contents from flowing back.
