The module creates a barrier that effectively prevents birds from perching and fouling protected surfaces. Module 1 does not harm birds, but only deters them and limits access to selected places. The base of the module is made of plastic with mounted metal arms. The module is shown in the illustration in an axonometric view. Description of the metal element: stainless steel spring wire with a diameter of 1.2 mm and a minimum length of 20 cm, bent in a "V" shape with one arm longer; Description of the plastic element: A transparent polycarbonate extrusion (or other similar UV-resistant material) measuring 33 cm long, 6.1 cm wide, and 0.3 cm thick, with 13 0.3 cm high sockets on both sides, each with two holes for wires. The distance between the sockets is 5.2 cm on either side of the strip, with 7 sockets on one side and 6 on the other, respectively. In the center of the strip are two oblong holes measuring 13.6 cm long and 2.3 cm wide, separated by a 2 cm "bridge." Three cuts run through the center of the strip – break lines – to help divide the element into two separate parts. On both sides of the strip there is the inscription "Corotop" in the form of protruding letters molded into the plastic, and 8 mounting holes with a diameter of 0.5 cm. Description of the module after assembly: on a plastic base ("strip") in special 13 sockets there are wire elements (13 wires = 26 arms). Protection length 33 cm, protection width min. 11 cm, protection height min. 11 cm (in the case of a larger opening of the wire arms, the protection width can be c +/- 1 cm). To increase the protection length, break the strips at the notches, thanks to which you will receive two elements with a total length of 66 cm and 26 arms - but with a protection width half as large. This is what distinguishes this model from other products, as well as the width of the protection and the number of wires. The module can be connected to the substrate using a weld (adhesive) or thanks to eight mounting holes (using nails or screws). Significant industrial design features: - the ability to increase the length of the protection by breaking the plastic element in the middle – lengthwise (three notches), - the metal element's length of 20 cm and its diameter of 1.2 mm contribute to the module's high effectiveness even in difficult weather conditions, - the metal element has a sufficiently large diameter (1.2 mm) to avoid injuring birds. - the length of the metal elements can be freely adjusted by moving them in the sockets, which increases the width of the protection.
