Takie rozwiązania znane są między innymi z opisu zgłoszenia europejskiego wynalazku nr 480 532 Al opisu patentowego amerykańskiego nr 5 069 567. Te rozwiązania dotyczą konstrukcji segregatorów pudełkowych, mogących spełniać jednocześnie rolę nesesera zapinanego w dość utrudniony sposób. W tych segregatorach dokumenty umieszczano poprzez osadzenie w mechanizmie segregatora uprzednio podziurkowanych na krawędzi arkuszy. Tak przechowywane dokumenty noszą zawsze ślady zniszczenia.
