The industrial design is for an LED fixture designed to illuminate horizontal and vertical surfaces. The LED fixture consists of an aluminum base (body) and a semi-circular polycarbonate diffuser. The fixture's cross-section is roughly circular. The design, as proposed by the industrial design, consists of an aluminum base and a plastic diffuser, which is attached to the base from the front using a mechanical latch with contoured protrusions in the base of the fixture. Installation is achieved without the use of additional components and is possible even in situations where the installation space is limited by side walls and sliding the cover back after securing the fixture to the side of the fixture. The subject of the design is shown in Figure No. 1. The base is an extruded aluminum profile, the cross-section of which is similar to a circle open at the top, with a rectangular opening for LED diodes located centrally, with the features specified in Figure No. 2. The luminaire is composed of a semicircular lampshade made of polycarbonate or other light-transmitting material with the shape specified in Figure No. 3. Each of the above-mentioned components (Figures 2-3) has specific features such as dimensions and appearance, which have been designed to connect with the body and create an LED luminaire Figure 2. The base in cross-section has the shape of a circle open at the top (1) with a central rectangular opening (2). The side walls of the rectangle are equipped with rectangular internal channels (3). The internal channels are placed opposite each other, forming a pair. The edges of the base have a shaped latching protrusion adapted to the size and shape of the lampshade, located inwards (4). In the lower part of the base, on the outside, there is a centrally located "T"-shaped recess (5). Additionally, to the right and left of this recess, there are four rectangular recesses arranged parallel to each other (6). Figure 3 The cover (lampshade) is attached to the body from the front by pressing and mechanically latching the lampshade in the profiled protrusions on the outside of the body. Inside the body, there is space for placing LED light sources, where the LEDs emit light. The advantage of the luminaire solution according to the pattern is the simple opening and closing of the cover from the front without the need to insert the lampshade into the body from the side of the luminaire. This greatly simplifies and ensures trouble-free installation in situations where the mounting space is limited by side walls and inserting the shade into the body from the side is not possible. Installation is convenient and quick, requiring no tools, and the fixture is secured using snap-in brackets that hold the fixture by two edges. Significant industrial design features: • proportional alt shape (width/height) • base has two identical snap-in protrusions for shade mounting • base has an internal channel for mounting LED strips • uniquely shaped snap-in cover • unique base shape: the sides of the base each have four parallel rectangular recesses and a centrally located "T" recess.
