The industrial design is for an LED fixture designed to illuminate horizontal and vertical surfaces. The LED fixture consists of an aluminum base (body) and a polycarbonate shade; the fixture has a square cross-section. The essence of the industrial design is the aluminum base and plastic shade, which is attached to the base from the front by a mechanical latch with profiled protrusions in the base of the fixture. Installation is achieved without the use of additional components and is possible even in situations where the installation space is limited by side walls and sliding the cover back after securing the body to the surface from the side of the fixture is not possible. The subject of the design is shown in Figure 1. The base is an extruded, gutter-shaped aluminum profile with the features shown in Figure 2. The fixture is composed of a lampshade made of polycarbonate or another light-transmitting material with the features specified in Figure 3. Each of the above-mentioned components (Figures 2-3) has specific features such as dimensions and appearance, which have been designed to connect with the body and create an LED fixture. Figure 2 The base consists of two parallel side walls (arms) of the same shape (1) connected by a bottom wall (2). The upper part of each side wall has a shaped latching protrusion adapted to the size and shape of the lampshade, located inward (3). In the lower part, on the inside of the side walls, at the same height are internal channels (4), which in cross-section have the shape of the letter "C." The internal channels are arranged opposite each other, forming a pair. In cross-section, the base has an outline similar to a large "U" with a flat bottom. A trapezoidal protrusion (5) is formed at the bottom of the base. On the outer side of the base are wavy ledges (6). The individual body parts form a monolith. Figure 3. The cover (shade) is attached to the body from the front by pressing and mechanically latching the shade into the profiled protrusions inside the body. The advantage of the luminaire design based on the pattern is the simple opening and closing of the cover from the front without having to insert the shade into the body from the side of the luminaire. This significantly simplifies installation and ensures trouble-free installation in situations where the mounting space is limited by side walls and inserting the shade into the body from the side is not possible. The installation is convenient and quick, no tools are required, and the fixture is mounted using snap-in holders that hold the fixture by two edges.
