Abstract
The method involves absorbing shock by tilting a guide rail (14) from a rest position in which two runners (141, 142) are shifted with respect to a vertical plane and a horizontal plane, towards an operating position in which the runners are aligned with respect to the vertical plane. The runners are connected with each other through a spacer (143). The slider is connected to a support (11) by a separator (12). An independent claim is also included for a safety barrier disposed along a traffic lane.
