The subject of the industrial design is the interior equipment of a single-cabin locomotive driver's cab, containing operator stations and a social area. The design most closely resembles the interior equipment of a locomotive cab, according to European Community registered industrial design no. 000362272_0002. The known operator's station has a box-shaped base, on top of which a control panel and control console extend along its entire length. The panel's top has a central recess at the front, while the opposite side transitions into a console with indicators and controls. The front surface of the console is formed by three essentially flat sections, diagonally inclined relative to the surface of the top and to each other. The upper surface of the console—located essentially on a single plane—extends beyond the front surface of the console, creating a canopy. The essence of the design is its new form, manifested in the shape and line layout of the interior fittings of the driver's cab of a single-cabin locomotive, containing the operator's station and its integration with the social area. The common essential feature (idea) of all design variations is the use of a new and original operator's station as a permanent element of the cab's interior fittings. In individual design variations, the operator's station is either a standalone element of the cab's interior fittings or is integrated with the social area with various modular fittings and a different design. The front view of the design is shown in the attached illustrations, in which: - Figs. 1 and 2 show the first design variation in two front views; - Figs. 3 and 4 show the second design variation in two front views; - Figs. 5 and 6 show the third design variant in two front views; -2- - Figs. 7 and 8 show the fourth design variant in two front views; - Figs. 9 and 10 show the fifth design variant in two front views; In all design variants, the operator's station has a box-shaped base, from the side of which extends the control panel, which has a tabletop that transitions into a two-part control console protruding above the tabletop. A quadrilateral footrest for the driver's feet is attached to the right side of the base box. The panel top has rounded outer vertices and extends forward of the base box and to the right of the station along its entire length so that it connects to the base box on its left side. The leading edge of the tabletop – formed from two essentially straight sections defining an obtuse angle between them – has an integrated support for the driver's forearm. The forearm support is a slanted surface, formed on the upper front edge of the tabletop and protruding slightly above the tabletop. The control console, extending upward from the tabletop, has two slightly slanted front surfaces with indicators and controls, conventionally defining the left and right sections of the console, each with a different height. Above these slanted surfaces, the left section of the console is vertical and significantly taller than the right section, with a height comparable to the height of the operator's station base box, reaching, conventionally, to the cabin ceiling. At the same time, beyond the left edge of the tabletop, the left section of the control console flows into the base box, while the front surface of the right section of the console is covered at the top and right side by a canopy that flows into the left section of the console. The left, essentially flat wall of the base box and console can be integrated with a rest area, with various modular equipment and a different design. In the first design variant, the operator's station is a standalone element of the cabin interior. In the second design variant, the operator's station is integrated with a rest area consisting of a corner wardrobe locker, which has a recess in the lower section. -3- In the third design variant, the operator's station is integrated with a rest area consisting of a corner washbasin. In the fourth design variant, the operator's station is integrated with a social area consisting of a refrigerator and a stove – located above the refrigerator, with a space between them creating a recess, and a cabinet above the stove. In the fifth design variant, the operator's station is integrated with a social area consisting of a refrigerator and a stove – located above the refrigerator, with a space between them creating a recess, and a cabinet above the stove, with a corner sink adjacent to the refrigerator. The interior furnishings of the driver's cab of the single-cabin locomotive, which are the subject of the design, create a friendly, logically ordered, and aesthetically pleasing work environment. ESSENTIAL FEATURES OF THE INDUSTRIAL DESIGN - The operator's station has a box-shaped base, from the side of which extends the control panel, which has a tabletop that transitions into a two-part control console located above it. - The operator's station's tabletop extends forward of the base box and to the right of the station along its entire length, so that it connects to the base box on its left side. - The front edge of the tabletop is formed from two essentially straight sections, defining an obtuse angle between them, and has an integrated support for the driver's forearm. - The driver's forearm support is a beveled surface formed on the upper part of the front edge of the tabletop and protruding above the tabletop plate. - The control console body, extending upward from the desk top, has two front, slightly sloping surfaces, conventionally defining the left and right parts of the console, with the left one being significantly higher than the right. - 4 - - Above the front, sloping surfaces of the console, the left part of the body is vertical. - Beyond the left edge of the top, the control console body merges into the base box. - Adjacent to the left, generally flat wall of the base box and console is the driver's cab interior amenities, consisting of a corner wardrobe locker, which has a recess in its lower section. - Adjacent to the left, generally flat wall of the base box and console is the driver's cab interior amenities, consisting of a corner washbasin. - Adjacent to the left, substantially flat wall of the base box and console is the social part of the driver's cab interior equipment, consisting of a refrigerator and a stove, the latter located above the refrigerator with a gap creating a recess between them, and a cabinet located above the stove. - Adjacent to the left, substantially flat wall of the base box and console is the social part of the driver's cab interior equipment, consisting of a refrigerator and a stove, the latter located above the refrigerator with a gap creating a recess between them, and a cabinet located above the stove, and a corner washbasin adjacent to the refrigerator.
