Description
Mozna równiez stosowac rozcienczony, czysty lug dwufo¬ sforanu sodowego, gdy go sie przy zmniej- szonem cisnieniu wyparowuje az do wy¬ dzielania krysztalów. W obu wypadkach otrzymuje sie czysty fosforan sodowy O skladzie Na2HP04 + 2H20. PLOf the inert salts of phosphoric acid, sodium diphosphate with 12, 7 and 2 molecules of water of crystallization is known. Of these, only the salt with twelve water molecules has so far been of technical importance as it is used in great amounts for weighting silk. In this salt, not less than 60% of the water of crystallization accounts for 19.8% of P2O5, i.e. three parts of water per part of the active substance, which is an extremely large ballast for transport. A somewhat better, true, but still inadequate, ratio of P 2 Ob to water is obtained with a salt with 7 molecules of water of crystallization. Completely anhydrous salt is not used in the silk industry for some other reasons. Only sodium diphosphate with two crystallization water molecules has the prospect of being superior as the salt most suitable for transport over other salts containing a lot of crystallization water. with the content of 40% P2Ob and 20% of crystalline water for one part of the active mass (PJO ^) only 0.5 parts of crystallization water. The preparation of this product was hitherto very onerous and was limited only to laboratory preparations, since it was always necessary to first prepare salt with 12 water molecules, and then by dissolving, evaporating and crystallizing again, or by drying it properly. This salt should be transformed into a diphosphate with 2 water molecules. At present, it was possible to obtain this product in a simple way in one operation without intermediate crystallization, which enables its technical production in large quantities. According to the present process, highly concentrated liquors above the transformation temperature - above 50 ° C, are used for the crystallization of this salt, namely the previously concentrated and purified phosphoric acid is neutralized for this purpose, which contains approximately 600-700 g per liter. P 2 O 5, a calculated amount of soda or sodium liquor, thus obtaining, from the saturated liquor above 50 ° C., water-poor sodium diphosphate in the form of well-formed crystals. It is also possible to use a dilute, pure slurry of sodium diphosphate by evaporating it under reduced pressure until crystals separate. In both cases, pure sodium phosphate is obtained with the composition Na2HPO4 + 2H2O. PL
