Celem niniejszego wynalazku jest wy¬ tworzenie mater j alu, przypomina j acego drzewo, który w stanie poczatkowym jest plastyczny, to znaczy przybiera nadany mu ksztalt oraz spaja sie silnie z innemi mater jalami, jak dtzewo, szklo, porcelana, metale i t. d., bez uzycia kleju.Wedlug wynalazku pochodne celulozy, jak celuloid, acetocelulozy, ksantocelulozy i inne rozpuszcza isie we wlasciwych roz¬ puszczalnikach, jak aceton, octan amylowy i inne z dodatkiem lub bez dodatku zywic i substancyj zmiekczajacych, poczem roz¬ twór miesza sie w dowolnych proporcjach z trocinami drzewnemi, maka zwykla, tor¬ fem, korkiem, masa papierowa i innemi substancjami pochodzenia roslinnego z do¬ daniem lub bez dodatku suibstancyj obcia¬ zajacych, jak glinokrzemiany, kreda, gips i t. d., oraz barwników. Otrzymana masa jest plastyczna, daje sie ugniatac w reku^ wtlaczac do form, a znajdujac sie w zetknieciu z powietrzem, dzieki wyparowa¬ niu skladników plynnych twardnieje, staje sie podobna do drzewa, nasladujac je swo- jemi wlasciwosciami, miedzy innemi daje sie heblowac, polerowac, obrabiac na to¬ karni, frezarce, przyjmuje bejce, farby, la¬ kiery i t. d.
