Znane sa rów¬ niez srodki do odsiarczania, miedzy innymi z pol¬ skiego opisu patentowego nr 53 215 zawierajace * tlenek wapnia, tlenek aluminium, tlenek zelaza, tlenek tytanu oraz krzemionke, fluoryt i karbid.Istota wynalazku jest zastosowanie jako sklad¬ nika srodka do odsiarczania zeliwa tlenku magne¬ zowego w odpowiedniej proporcji z tlenkiem wa¬ pnia, tlenkiem aluminium, tlenkiem zelaza, tlen¬ kiem sodu i potasu oraz krzemionka.Srodek wedlug wynalazku sklada sie z tlenku Wapnia w ilosci 48—60 czesci wagowych, tlenku magnezowego w ilosci 12—114 czesci wagowych, tlenku aluminium w ilosci 7^8 czesci wagowych, tlenku zelaza w ilosci 4—6 czesci wagowych, tlen¬ ku sodu i potasu w ilosci do 1 czesci wagowej 10 15 20 30 oraz krzemionki w uzupelnieniu do 100 czeslci wa¬ gowych.Mieszanine proszkowa otrzymuje sie przez pra¬ zenie dolomitu.
