Jako powlo¬ ke ochronna stosuje sie platyne.Niespodziewanie spostrzezono obecnie, ze uzywany na katody nikiel, przy wysta¬ waniu nad powierzchnia, nie uszkadza sie w miejscu zetkniecia sie powietrza i plynu elektrolitycznego.Na zasadzie tego zglaszajacy stosuje o- becnie zabezpieczanie przy pomocy niklu elektrod, wyrabianych z innego metalu.Np., mozna w zelaznych albo miedzianych elektrodach miejsca narazone na uszko¬ dzenie wyrabiac z niklu albo zabezpieczyc je warstwa ochronna niklu. Zastosowanie niklu w tym celu bylo tern mniej przewi¬ dywane, ze, jak juz poprzednio powiedzia¬ no, wszystkie inne metale nieszlachetne, mogace byc brane w rachube, uszkadzaja sie równoczesnem dzialaniem plynu i po¬ wietrza. PLThe present invention relates to an electrolytic process for the production of sodium perborate, which uses cathodes of metals which, by themselves or in their compounds, decompose perborate. As already in one of the applicant's patents, it is recommended to protect cathodes that protrude from the electrolytic fluid from being damaged in places exposed to the fluid and air simultaneously. As a protective coating, platinum is used. Surprisingly, it has now been found that the nickel used for the cathodes, when it protrudes above the surface, does not damage at the point of contact between air and electrolytic fluid. For electrodes made of other metals, for example, the damaged areas in iron or copper electrodes can either be made of nickel or protected with a nickel protective layer. The use of nickel for this purpose was less anticipated that, as previously stated, all the other base metals that may be considered will be damaged by the simultaneous action of the fluid and the air.
