Description

Wynalazek niniejszy dotyczy igiel gra¬ mofonowych. PLThe present invention relates to gramophone needles. The method of producing gramophone needles according to the invention is based on the fact that the spike of a xerotite branch (plant) is first soaked in a very dilute acid to soften the fibers of this spike, and then the spike is heated moderately for a few hours and soaked in one from solutions or mixtures used as tree detectors, such as in iodine solution, and after the spike has dried, the wood is completely separated from the horn substance. The horny substances are then soaked in alcohol or ether for a time depending on its state, ranging from 2 to 24 hours. As a result of this soaking, the horny substance tightens and hardens and is then given a shape that corresponds to the sound groove on a gramophone record. The horny substances should then be coated (by dipping or spraying) with a solution of resin, a solution of nitrocellulose in a mixture of alcohol and ether, bituminous substances or other body producing an airtight coating, and then drying the horn substance and cuts into pieces, giving the needles ready and ready for use. The airtight coating formed on the horny substance can also be made of a material having 'characteristics similar to those of the material from which phono records are made. PL
