Description
Przedmiotem wynalazku jest sposób obnizenia lepkosci oleju silnikowego w niskich temperaturach.Dotychczas przebadano stosowanie dwuestrów i poliestrówjako syntetycznych olejów lubjako dodatek do odpowiednich frakcji olejów otrzymywanych z ropy naftowej oraz zaleznosc wlasnosci smarowych stosowanych olejów od ich budowy chemicznej w zakresie wysokich temperatur (E.R. Hafner: Mechanical Engineering 39, 35 1977, Kyokashik: Journal of the Feul Society of Japan 53, 91 1974). Przyklad I. Do oleju silnikowego 5 W dodano 33% wagowych estru dwubutylowego kwasu adypino¬ wego. Uzyskano zmniejszenie lepkosci z 1100X 10~3Pa -s do 120X10~3Pas w temperaturze —22°C i znacznie lagodniejszy przebieg krzywej wzrostu lepkosci wraz z obnizeniem temperatury.Przyklad II. Do oleju silnikowego 5 W dodano 10% wagowych estru dwubutylowego kwasu adypino¬ wego. PLThe subject of the invention is a method of reducing the viscosity of engine oil at low temperatures. So far, the use of diesters and polyesters as synthetic oils or as an additive to appropriate fractions of oils obtained from crude oil and the dependence of the lubricating properties of the oils used on their chemical structure in the high temperature range (ER Hafner: Mechanical Engineering 39, 35 1977, Kyokashik: Journal of the Feul Society of Japan 53, 91 1974). In the course of the research it was found that the main influence on the reduction of the viscosity of the engine oil at low temperatures is the length of the alcohol radical, and not the chain length in the aliphatic dicarboxylic acid. As the length of the acid chain increases with the same alcohol groups, the characteristics of the viscosity curves deteriorate. It was also found that the most favorable results in terms of the reduction of viscosity and in terms of the course of the viscosity curves are obtained with the use of adipic acid dibutyl ester. Due to the increasing content of this ester in the mixture, the viscosity properties of the engine oil are improved in the low temperature range. According to the invention, the addition of adipic acid dibutyl ester in the amount of 10-35% by weight is used, which allows the oil to be operated at low temperatures, to a minimum temperature. —35 ° C. The amount of added ester is strictly dependent on the temperature range with which the oil is to be operated. Example 1. 33% by weight of adipic acid dibutyl ester was added to a 5 W motor oil. Viscosity was reduced from 1100X10-3Pa-s to 120X10-3Pas at -22 ° C and a much smoother course of the viscosity growth curve as the temperature decreased. Example II. 10% by weight of adipic acid dibutyl ester was added to the 5 W motor oil. Viscosity was reduced from 550 x 10-3Pa s to 340 x 10-3Pa s at -24 °. Example III. 33% by weight of adipic acid dibutyl ester was added to the 5W motor oil, resulting in a viscosity at -27 ° C equal to 540 × 10-3Pa · s, which is approximately half the limit. Patent claim A method of lowering the viscosity of motor oil in at low temperatures, characterized in that the addition of adipic acid dibutyl ester in an amount of 10-35% by weight is used. PL
