Description
Tlenki alkylenowe reaguja, jak wiado¬ mo, z amon jakiem zachowujac temperature umiarkowana, tworzac mieszanine roz¬ maitych oksyalkyloamin. Otrzymuje sie np. z tlenku etylenowego i amon jaku mie¬ szanine, zawierajaca etanoloamine, dwu- etanoloamine i trój etanoloamine w roz¬ maitych stosunkach, zaleznie od ilosci u- zytego amon jaku. Otrzy¬ muje sie 90—95% wydajnosc trójetanolo- amiriy w posfaci okolo 70%-ego roztworu wodnego. Przyklad II. Do 3400 cz. 25%-ej wody amonjakalnej wprowadza sie powoli, utrzy¬ mujac temperature okolo 10°, 352 cz. tlen¬ ku etylenowego. Otrzymuje sie z dobra wy¬ dajnoscia jednoetanoloamine, która pozba¬ wiona wody wrze w temperaturze 170— 200°. PLAlkylene oxides are known to react with ammonium at a moderate temperature to form a mixture of various oxyalkylamines. It is obtained, for example, from ethylene oxide and ammonium as a mixture containing ethanolamine, diethanolamine and triethanolamine in varying proportions depending on the amount of ammonium used. In addition, there is still the formation of compounds of these bases. It has now been found that under moderate temperatures, the reaction of alkylene oxides on ammonium is obtained like homogenous products, since alkylene oxide is slowly added to the alma- like. ¬ noloamine which contains only traces of mono- or diethanolamine. The best way is to work in towers, pumping ammonium water, into which alkylene oxide is slowly introduced. The individual reaction products are obtained in a clean state and in good yield. The advantage of the new process lies primarily in achieving an almost quantitative conversion without the formation of by-products. Example I. 3870 parts. 25% of the amine water is pumped through the tower, slowly and simultaneously introducing 2,600 parts of water. ethylene oxide, while the temperature is kept at 25-30 °. A yield of 90-95% of triethanolamine is obtained as an approximately 70% aqueous solution. Less alkylated products or compounds only appear in the form of a trace. Example II. Up to 3,400 parts 25% of ammoniacal water is slowly introduced, maintaining a temperature of about 10 °, 352 parts ethylene oxide. A monoethanolamine is obtained in good yield, which boils at 170 ° to 200 ° without water. PL
