A system for treating and removing chemical contaminants and impurities from water through the use of activated carbon is disclosed. The system described herein compromises a water inlet, a series of stainless steel screens and filter foams, coconut activated carbon, and a water outlet. Fluid flowing from the water inlet is directed into the screens and is diverted upward into the activated carbon, passing through a series of filter foam and screens and then finally out through the water outlet.
