Abstract
Provided are a wastewater treatment apparatus and a wastewater treatment method capable of achieving, by a simple apparatus and process, both a sterilization treatment for sterilizing organic matter in water to be treated by ozone and a biological treatment for water to be treated using aerobic microbes. At least an accommodation tank 30 that accommodates water to be treated which is a treatment target, supply means 40 that supplies micro-nano bubbles containing ozone and oxygen into the accommodation tank 30, and a porous material 58 which is accommodated in the accommodation tank 30, includes at least aerobic microbes, contains carbon as a component, and has a micro-nano level porous portion are included.
