Abstract
Disclosed in the invention are a cluster clock management system and management method, relating to the field of multi-frame cluster routers. The system comprises: a clock interface, wherein the clock interface comprises a clock state uplink interface and a clock control downlink interface; a multi-frame router cluster, which is divided into a plurality of clock sub network elements, wherein each clock sub network element is provided with an exchange frame for collecting clock state information; a timing source module comprising a first timing source and a second timing source which are introduced from the exchange frames of the clock sub network elements; and a clock control plane for obtaining a clock planning topological graph and generating and issuing clock configurations, wherein the clock control plane collects the clock state information and generates a clock running topological graph, and if the clock planning topological graph is different from the clock running topological graph, a new clock planning topological graph is obtained through recalculation, so that switching between the first timing source and the second timing source and switching of a clock path between the exchange frames are realized. According to the system and the method, the overall clock synchronization and the clock path protection of the multi-frame router cluster can be realized.
