Abstract

The present invention relates to an expandable shelter box which is installed on the rear side of a vehicle or connected to a moving vehicle, and which can be used for various applications by expanding the internal space thereof. The expandable type shelter box comprises: a box-shaped main body having a bottom plate which is supported by a roof and a main frame; an expansion part which is accommodated within the main body so as to be unfolded to the left or right side of the main body, and of which the lower part is opened without a bottom surface; a driver which moves a frame forwards and backwards so that the expansion part can be unfolded or accommodated within the main body; an expansion bottom plate which is hinge-coupled to the bottom plate of the main body and forms the bottom surface of the expansion part when the expansion part is unfolded; and at least one linkage member of which one end is hinge-coupled to the center of the expansion bottom plate and the other end is hinge-coupled to a bracket installed on the lower part of the expansion part to allow the expansion bottom plate to rotate according to the movement of the expansion part.
