Abstract

The present disclosure relates to an expansion type shelter box that is coupled to the rear of a vehicle or connected to a pulled vehicle to be used for various purposes by expanding the internal space. The expansion type shelter box includes: a box-shaped body (10) that has a roof (12) and a bottom plate (11) supported by a main frame (13); an expansion section (20) that is supported by a sub-frame (24) slidably received inside the main frame (13), is received in the body (10) to be deployed left and right from the body (10), and is open at the bottom without a floor; a driving unit (30) that is disposed on the main frame (13) and moves the sub-frame (24) forward and backward so that the expansion section (20) is deployed or stowed in the body (10); an expansion bottom plate (25) that is hinged to the bottom plate (11) of the body (10) and forms the bottom of the expansion section (20) by being supported on the sub-frame (24) when the expansion section (20) is deployed; and one or more link members (27) that have one end hinged to the middle portion of the expansion bottom plate (25) and the other end hinged to a bracket (28) under the expansion section (20) so that the expansion bottom plate (25) is rotated when the expansion section (20) is moved.
