Abstract

The invention provides a one-shot herbicide composition comprising at least one herbicidal active ingredient selected from Groups 1 and/or Group 2, and at least one polymer where the composition is formulated into a granule or sprayable form, wherein Group 1 consists of bispyribac-sodium, penoxsulam, cyhalofop-butyl, metamifop, pyribenzoxim, azimsulfuron, flucetosulfuron, metazosulfuron, pyrimisulfan, profoxydim, pyriminobac-methyl, mefenacet, benzobicyclon, clomazone, fenoxaprop-P-ethyl, quinclorac, and propyrisulfuron; Group 2 consists of members of the protoporphyrinogen oxidase inhibitor group (PPO inhibitor herbicides) and the branched-chain amino acid inhibitor group (ALS or AHAS inhibitor herbicides) other than those listed in Group 1; and one or more of the at least one herbicidal active ingredient is/are dispersed in the at least one polymer. The invention also provides a weed control method in rice fields by applying the one-shot herbicide composition.
