Abstract

The invention relates to a tower structure comprising a plurality of stacked storeys (NE), which can support one or more vertical-axis wind turbine rotors (32), the surface swept by each rotor being enlarged so as to increase the mechanical power recovered by the wind turbine. Furthermore, the tower structure can withstand the mechanical stresses generated by the rotation of the rotors arranged one above the other over a significant height.
