Abstract
The invention relates to a synchronous generator (301) of a gearless wind power plant (100), comprising an external rotor (304) and a stator (302), wherein the synchronous generator (301) has a generator outside diameter (344) and the stator (302) has a stator outside diameter , and a ratio of the stator outside diameter to the generator outside diameter is greater than 0.86 , in particular greater than 0.9 , and in particular greater than 0.92.
