Abstract
The present invention relates to a fuel supply method and system for a barge mounted power plant. The fuel supply system for a barge mounted power plant of the present invention comprises: a marine production facility disposed on shore in order to produce oil and gas; a gas processing apparatus for processing the oil and gas produced in the marine production facility; and a gas supply line for supplying the gas processed in the gas processing apparatus to a barge mounted power plant. The present invention enables the efficient use of gas which is a by-product of a marine production facility. That is, gas, which is a by-product, can be directly supplied to a barge mounted power plant and utilized to generate electricity, unlike in an existing marine production facility which transfers gas to a consumption site through lines for gas injection and gas export. Furthermore, since direct supply of fuel gas to a power plant is possible, separate gas storage and re-gasification facilities are not required for a barge mounted power plant.
