Abstract
Provided is a receiving facility for a liquefied natural gas, which is capable of stably processing a boil off gas generated in a storage tank for a liquefied natural gas. The receiving facility for a liquefied natural gas includes: a storage tank (2) configured to store a liquefied natural gas received from outside; a send out line (102) including a vaporizer (42) configured to vaporize the liquefied natural gas, the send out line (102) being configured to vaporize the liquefied natural gas fed from the storage tank in the vaporizer to discharge the liquefied natural gas in a gas state; a boil off gas line (103) including a gas compression unit (3) configured to boost a pressure of a boil off gas generated in the storage tank, the boil off gas line (103) being configured to discharge the boil off gas having the boosted pressure; a gas engine (6) configured to drive a power generator (61) through use of the boil off gas generated in the storage tank as a fuel; and a fuel gas line (104) configured to supply the boil off gas in the storage tank to the gas engine.
