Abstract
A manipulated amount MV1 is determined within a manipulated amount range of a manipulated amount upper limit value to a manipulated amount lower limit value through feedback control on the basis of an oxygen concentration in a treatment space 11a which is detected by a first or second oxygen sensor and on the basis of a target value Ct of the oxygen concentration. Then, a manipulated flow rate MV2 is derived, which is a value obtained after conversion of the determined manipulated amount MV1, the conversion being achieved by converting the manipulated amount range into a limited range that is a range obtained by narrowing a flow rate range within which an MFC 34 can adjust a flow rate of hydrogen by at least one of lowering an upper limit and raising a lower limit of the flow rate range. Then, the derived manipulated flow rate MV2 is output to the MVC 34.
