Abstract
La presente invencion esta referida a un metodo para potenciar el atractivo de las plantas para los insectos beneficiosos, caracterizado porque comprende aplicar al menos una vez una composicion que comprende una cantidad eficaz de un enantiomero de 3,4-dihidroxifenilalanina (DOPA) seleccionado del grupo que consiste en L-3,4-dihidroxifenilalanina (L-DOPA) y D-3,4-dihidroxifenilalanina (DDOPA) o una mezcla de los mismos a las hojas, tallo y/o raices de la planta; en donde los insectos beneficiosos pertenecen a la familia Braconidae. El metodo proporciona un control economico de plagas de insectos daninas e incluso permite un control preventivo antes de una infestacion. Ademas, aumenta la atraccion de insectos beneficiosos los cuales a su vez favorece el crecimiento y propagacion de la planta.
