Abstract
Esta solicitud proporciona un conector macho de fibra, un adaptador de fibra, un ensamblaje de conector, y un dispositivo de comunicaciones. El conector macho de fibra incluye un casquillo sujetado a una fibra, y una carcasa principal y una cubierta frontal que rodean la fibra. La cubierta frontal es sujetada a la carcasa principal y rodea el casquillo. Una cara de extremo frontal del casquillo esta enrasada con una cara de extremo frontal de la cubierta frontal, o en una direccion axial, una cara de extremo frontal del casquillo esta ubicada entre una cara de extremo frontal de la cubierta frontal y una cara de extremo posterior de la cubierta frontal. Se forma una acanaladura entre la cubierta frontal y el casquillo, y la acanaladura es utilizada para acomodar una cara de extremo de un manguito de casquillo de un adaptador de fibra. El casquillo es utilizado para ser insertado en el manguito de casquillo. En esta solicitud, la disposicion de la cubierta frontal facilita un diseno de miniaturizacion del conector macho de fibra, de manera que mas puertos de conexion de fibra pueden ser acomodados en un espacio limitado.
