Abstract

Referido a una composicion farmaceutica que comprende entre el 0.03 % (p/p) y el 4.0 % (p/p) de palmitato de vitamina A, tensioactivo que es 4 a 5 veces el peso de la Vit. A palmitato, y el resto de composicion es agua; el pH se ajusta entre 7.0 y 7.5. En donde la composicion esta compuesta de particulas que tiene caras exteriores, compuestas por la porcion hidrofilica de las moleculas del tensioactivo, que interactuan con el agua, y las porciones internas son hidrofobicas, compuestas por la porcion hidrofobica de las moleculas de tensioactivo y sustancialmente todo el palmitato de Vit A. Tambien se refiere a procesos para su preparacion, via de administracion parenteral u oral, y su uso en el tratamiento o profilaxis del trastorno por deficiencia de vitamina A.
