Abstract
La presente invencion se refiere a un metodo y a un motor para realizar trabajos mediante osmosis. El metodo comprende las etapas de proporcionar un motor que comprende una camara de suministro, una camara de presion que comprende al menos una entrada y al menos una salida, y una membrana permeable al fluido y al menos parcialmente impermeable a los iones de sal y que permite la comunicacion fluida entre la camara de suministro y la camara de presion; luego proporcionar fluido de baja concentracion de sal en la camara de suministro; cerrar la salida de la camara de presion; dejar fluir fluido de alta concentracion de sal hacia la camara de presion; permitir que la presion dentro de la camara de presion aumente a medida que el fluido atraviesa la membrana hacia la camara de presion y usar la presion aumentada dentro de la camara de presion para realizar el trabajo; luego abrir la salida de la camara de presion y permitir que el fluido drene de la camara de presion y que disminuya la presion en la camara de presion.
