Abstract

Referido a una molecula de acido nucleico aislada que comprende la secuencia de acido nucleico de SEQ ID NO: 14 que codifica la susceptibilidad a Fusarium oxysporum raza 4 cuando se expresa en una planta, en donde la SEQ ID NO: 14 esta modificada por una, dos, tres o cuatro sustituciones de acido nucleico de modo que la secuencia de acido nucleico resultante codifica la resistencia a Fusarium oxysporum raza 4 cuando se expresa en una planta. Tambien se refiere a un constructo de acido nucleico que comprende dicha molecula de acido nucleico aislada, un vector de transformacion, un metodo para transformar una celula vegetal que comprende introducir el vector de transformacion en una celula vegetal, por lo cual la celula vegetal transformada expresa la secuencia de acido nucleico, este metodo proporciona una amplia resistencia a patogenos fungicos, tales como un hongo Fusarium, y plantas derivadas de ellos
