Abstract

Un sistema para licuar un gas incluye un intercambiador de calor de licuefaccion que tiene una entrada de gas de alimentacion adaptada para recibir un gas de alimentacion y una salida de gas licuado a traves de la cual el gas licuado sale despues que el gas es licuado en el canal de licuefaccion del intercambiador de calor por intercambio de calor con un canal de refrigeracion principal. Un sistema compresor de refrigerante mixto es configurado para proveer refrigerante al canal de refrigeracion principal. Un expansor separador esta en comunicacion con la salida de gas licuado del intercambiador de calor de licuefaccion, y una linea de gas frio esta en comunicacion fluida con el expansor separador. Un intercambiador de calor de recuperacion en frio recibe el vapor frio de la linea de gas frio y refrigerante liquido del sistema compresor de refrigerante mixto de modo que el refrigerante es enfriado usando el vapor frio.
