Abstract

La presente invencion se relaciona con un sistema y metodo de separacion de acero/magnetita. El sistema comprende al menos buzon de alimentacion (1), al menos al menos un harnero vibratorio (5) separador de tamano de particulas, que envia particulas menores o iguales a 60 mm de tamano a un primer sub sistema de separacion (6) de acero v/s magnetita y particulas superiores a 60 mm a un segundo subsistema de separacion (8), donde el primer subsistema de separacion (6) comprende, una cinta transportadora (6c) y una pluralidad de sensores (6d) dispuestos bajo la cinta (6c); y donde el segundo subsistema de separacion (8) comprende, una pluralidad de canales (8b) montados sobre un sistema vibratorio (8c) instalado en la zona del extremo de alimentacion de los canales (8b), donde al final del tramo de la trayectoria de particulas de cada canal (8b) se dispone una pieza de recambio de un polimero duro, resistente a la abrasion, el cual permite deslizar de mejor manera el material hacia la zona de separacion unitaria, la cual consiste en una placa de separacion metalica resistente a la abrasion, una pluralidad de detectores (8c) de acero entre mineral de magnetita, montados al final de la linea de transporte de las cuatro canales (8b), donde cada placa de separacion, se encuentra fijada fisicamente a un vastago de un cilindro neumatico (8d).
