Abstract
La presente invencion se refiere a un procedimiento de obtencion de extractos a partir de los residuos agroindustriales del procesamiento de la granada (Punica granatum). Durante y en forma posterior al procesamiento de la fruta para la obtencion del zumo se desarrolla la preparacion de la materia prima de extraccion, de un lado la fraccion residual de cascaras y membranas carpelares y de otro lado las semillas de granada. La tecnologia aplicada a este proceso de extraccion es denominada tecnologia supercritica, este proceso se fundamenta en el uso de solventes reconocidos como seguros y la aplicacion de parametros como temperatura y presion que propicien la estabilidad biologica de los biocompuestos obtenidos, tanto los de naturaleza polar (extracto en polvo de compuestos fenolicos) como los extractos de naturaleza apolar (aceite de granada). El proceso de extraccion propuesto representa una alternativa de gestion de residuos de la industria de granada, propiciando la generacion de productos de alto valor e importancia para la industria de alimentos, cosmetica y farmaceutica.The present invention refers to a procedure for obtaining extracts from agroindustrial residues from the processing of pomegranate (Punica granatum). The technology applied to this extraction process is called supercritical technology, this process is based on the use of solvents recognized as safe and the application of parameters such as temperature and pressure that promote the biological stability of the biocomposites obtained, both those of a polar nature ( powdered extract of phenolic compounds) such as nonpolar extracts (pomegranate oil). The proposed extraction process represents a waste management alternative for the Granada industry, promoting the generation of products of high value and importance for the food, cosmetic and pharmaceutical industries.
