Abstract

La presente solicitud de patente se refiere a un metodo y sistema que transmite la energia undimotriz absorbida por uno o mas cuerpos flotantes, sometidos al movimiento de las olas del mar, hasta un sistema conversor de energia instalado en la orilla de la costa. El sistema se caracteriza por incorporar una estructura tipo brazo instalada por sobre el nivel del mar, similar a las gruas de tipo torre para la construccion de edificios. La estructura tipo brazo contiene y canaliza uno o mas elementos flexibles, donde cada uno conecta y transmite la energia desde un cuerpo flotante hasta el sistema conversor de energia instalado en la orilla de la costa, a una altura por sobre el nivel del mar. Esto mejora el rendimiento energetico, ya que el elemento flexible va canalizado o direccionado, protegido y por sobre el nivel del mar, evitando asi perdidas de energia por estiramiento y por el fenomeno catenaria, producido por su propio peso. El sistema no requiere de elementos sumergidos, logrando un bajo impacto medioambiental, y logrando abaratar los costos de instalacion y mantencion, considerando la instalacion del sistema en su totalidad en tierra.
