Abstract
La presente solicitud de patente se refiere a un método y sistema que transmite la energía undimotriz absorbida por uno o más cuerpos flotantes, sometidos al movimiento de las olas del mar, hasta un sistema conversor de energía instalado en la orilla de la costa. El sistema se caracteriza por incorporar una estructura tipo brazo instalada por sobre el nivel del mar, similar a las grúas de tipo torre para la construcción de edificios. La estructura tipo brazo contiene y canaliza uno o más elementos flexibles, donde cada uno conecta y transmite la energía desde un cuerpo flotante hasta el sistema conversor de energía instalado en la orilla de la costa, a una altura por sobre el nivel del mar. Esto mejora el rendimiento energético, ya que el elemento flexible va canalizado o direccionado, protegido y por sobre el nivel del mar, evitando así pérdidas de energía por estiramiento y por el fenómeno catenaria, producido por su propio peso. El sistema no requiere de elementos sumergidos, logrando un bajo impacto medioambiental, y logrando abaratar los costos de instalación y mantención, considerando la instalación del sistema en su totalidad en tierra. La estructura entrega la posibilidad de acercar y alejar el cuerpo flotante o boya al borde costero, con el fin de proteger el cuerpo flotante frente a una tormenta, o simplemente para realizar una mantención.The present patent application refers to a method and system that transmits wave energy absorbed by one or more floating bodies, subjected to the movement of sea waves, to an energy converter system installed on the shoreline. The system does not require submerged elements, achieving a low environmental impact, and reducing the costs of installation and maintenance, considering the installation of the system entirely on land. The structure provides the possibility of moving the floating body or buoy closer to and farther from the shoreline, in order to protect the floating body against a storm, or simply to carry out maintenance.
