Abstract
Un fotoneutralizador no resonante para inyectores de haz neutro basados en iones negativos. El fotoneutralizador no resonante utiliza una acumulacion de fotones no resonante, en donde la trayectoria de un foton se enreda y queda atrapada en una cierta reglen espacial, es decir, la trampa de fotones. La trampa esta formada preferentemente por dos superficies de espejo lisas que se enfrentan una a la otra, siendo por lo menos uno de los espejos concavo. En su forma mas simple, la trampa es eliptica. Una region de confinamiento es una region cerca de una familia de normales, que es comun a ambas superficies de espejo. Los fotones con un angulo de desviacion suficientemente pequeno desde la normal comun mas cercana son confinados. Dependiendo de condiciones especifica, la forma de la superficie de espejo puede ser una con una geometria esferica, eliptica, cilindrica o toroidal o una combinacion de estas
