Abstract
La invencion se refiere a un metodo y aparato para la remocion de hidrocarburos pesados de una corriente de suministro de gas natural, donde el metodo comprende usar un primer y un segundo sistema de remocion de hidrocarburos pesados en serie, de tal modo que el primer sistema procesa la corriente de suministro de gas natural para producir una corriente de gas natural disminuida en hidrocarburos pesados y el segundo sistema procesa al menos una porcion de la corriente de gas natural disminuida en hidrocarburos pesados del primer sistema, para producir una corriente de gas natural pobre en hidrocarburos pesados y donde uno de dichos sistemas es un sistema de adsorcion que comprende uno o mas lechos de adsorbente, para adsorber y con ello remover, los hidrocarburos pesados de un gas natural contentivo de hidrocarburos pesados y, el otro de dichos sistemas es un sistema de separacion gas-liquido, para separar el gas natural contentivo de hidrocarburos pesados en un vapor de gas natural disminuido en hidrocarburos pesados y, en un liquido enriquecido en hidrocarburos pesados
