THE SECOND CURRENT IS EXPANDED AT A LOWER PRESSURE AND IS SUPPLIED AS A FEED FROM THE BOTTOM TO THE SECOND ABSORPTION MEDIUM. A STREAM OF DISTILLATION VAPOR IS COLLECTED FROM THE UPPER REGION OF THE FIRST ABSORBING MEDIA AND DIRECTED TO ONE OR MORE HEAT EXCHANGING MEDIA IN THE TREATMENT ASSEMBLY TO HEAT IT, AS THE GAS STREAM AND FIRST CURRENT COOL. THE VAPOR CURRENT FOR HOT DISTILLATION IS COMPRESSED AT A HIGHER PRESSURE AND DIVIDES INTO A VOLATILE RESIDUAL GAS FRACTION AND A COMPRESSED RECYCLING CURRENT. THE COMPRESSED RECYCLING CURRENT IS COOLED UNTIL SUBSTANTIALLY COMPLETELY CONDENSED BY THE VAPOR CURRENT FOR DISTILLATION IN THE ONE OR MORE HEAT EXCHANGE MEDIA WITHIN THE TREATMENT ASSEMBLY, AND THEN, IS SUPPLIED TO PRESSURE AS FEEDING SUPERIOR TO THE FIRST MEANS OF ABSORPTION
