THE PRESENT INVENTION PROVIDES IMPROVED RECOVERY (44) OF C2 COMPONENTS, C3 COMPONENTS, AND HEAVIER HYDROCARBON COMPONENTS OR OF C3 COMPONENTS AND HEAVIER HYDROCARBON COMPONENTS PER AMOUNT OF UTILITY CONSUMPTION REQUIRED TO OPERATE THE PROCESS. AN IMPROVEMENT IN UTILITY CONSUMPTION REQUIRED FOR OPERATING THE PROCESS MAY APPEAR IN THE FORM OF REDUCED POWER REQUIREMENTS FOR COMPRESSION (16,20) OR RE-COMPRESSION, REDUCED POWER REQUIREMENTS FOR EXTERNAL REFRIGERATION, REDUCED ENERGY REQUIREMENTS FOR SUPPLEMENTAL HEATING, OR A COMBINATION THEREOF.
