THE EXHAUST GAS CATALYST IS ARRANGED IN A LONGITUDINAL DIRECTION SUBSTANTIALLY ALONG THE DIRECTION OF THE WIDTH OF THE MOTORCYCLE; THE MUFFLER IS ARRANGED, IN ITS LONGITUDINAL DIRECTION, SUBSTANTIALLY ALONG THE FORWARD AND BACKWARD DIRECTION OF THE MOTORCYCLE, AND THE FRONT PART OF THIS IS ARRANGED SO THAT IT EXTENDS OVER THE MOTORCYCLE AND OVERCOMES EXHAUST GAS CATALYST, WHEN OBSERVED FROM THE SIDE. IN ADDITION, A CHASSIS STRUCTURE FOR A MOTORCYCLE IS DECRIBED THAT INCLUDES A HEAD TUBE, A MAIN FRAME, A PAIR OF PIVOT PLATES JOINTED TO THE REAR SURFACE OF THE MAIN FRAME; ONE PAIR OF UPPER SIDE REAR FRAMES (RIGHT AND LEFT); AND A PAIR OF REAR FRAMES ON THE BOTTOM SIDE (RIGHT AND LEFT) EXTENDING UPWARD BACK FROM THE MAIN FRAME
