TO PROVIDE A MOTORCYCLE (10) EXHAUST SYSTEM (60) CAPABLE OF IMPROVING THE EXTERNAL APPEARANCE OF THE MOTORCYCLE (10) BY HIDING AN EXHAUST GAS CATALYZER (62) WITH A MUFFLER (63) IN THE SIDE VIEW AND REDUCING A MANUFACTURING COST BY MINIMIZING THE LENGTH OF AN EXHAUST PIPE (61). AN EXHAUST PIPE (61) IS CONNECTED TO AN EXHAUST PORT (23B) OF AN ENGINE E. AN EXHAUST GAS CATALYZER (62) IS ARRANGED IN THE LONGITUDINAL DIRECTION ALMOST ALONG THE VEHICLE DIRECTION OF THE MOTORCYCLE (10). A MUFFLER (63) IS ARRANGED IN THE LONGITUDINAL DIRECTION ALMOST ALONG THE FORWARD AND REARWARD DIRECTION OF THE MOTORCYCLE (10). MOREOVER, A FRONT PART OF THE MUFFLER (63) EXTENDS TO THE FRONT SIDE OF THE MOTORCYCLE (10) AND IS OVERLAPPED ON THE EXHAUST GAS CATALYZER (62) IN THE SIDE VIEW, THEREBY, THE EXHAUST GAS CATALYZER (62) IS HIDDEN WITH THE MUFFLER (63). TO PROVIDE A BODY FRAME (II) STRUCTURE FOR A MOTORCYCLE CAPABLE OF OPTIMIZING THE RIGIDITY BALANCE OF THE BODY FRAME (11), REDUCING THE MANUFACTURING COST, AND IMPROVING A DEGREE OF FREEDOM IN DESIGN. A BODY FRAME (11) STRUCTURE FOR A MOTORCYCLE INCLUDES A HEAD PIPE (13), A MAIN FLAME (14) HAVING AN ALMOST SQUARE CROSS-SECTION AND EXTENDING DOWNWARDLY TO THE REAR FROM THE HEAD PIPE (13), A PAIR OF RIGHT AND LEFT PIVOT PLATES (15) JOINED TO THE REAR SIDE SURFACE OF THE MAIN FRAME, A PAIR OF RIGHT AND LEFT UPPER SIDE REAR FRAMES (16) JOINED TO THE REAR SIDE OF THE MAIN FRAME (14) AND EXTENDING UPWARD TO THE REAR, AND A PAIR OF RIGHT AND LEFT LOWER SIDE REAR FRAMES (17) ARRANGED IN THE LOWER SIDE OF THE UPPER SIDE REAR FRAMES (16) AND EXTENDING UPWARDLY GOING TO THE LOWER SIDE, WHEREIN THE OPENING SIDE OF A PLATE MEMBER HAVING AN ALMOST U-SHAPED CROSS-SECTION IS JOINED TO BOTH SIDE SURFACES OF THE REAR END PART OF THE MAIN FRAME (14), AND BOTH SIDE SURFACES IN THE CLOSING END SIDE OF THE PLATE MEMBER ARE JOINED TO THE LOWER SIDE REAR FRAMES.
