EL CONDUCTO EXTERNO ESTA PROVISTO DE MANIJAS Y UN FUELLE, SIENDO PARCIALMENTE EXTRAIBLE. LA CABECERA COMPRENDE BOQUILLAS DE ENTRADA PARA EL AGUA Y EL MERCURIO, Y BOQUILLAS DE SALIDA PARA EL AGUA Y LA AMALGAMA PRODUCIDA. LA CUOTA DE LA EXTREMIDAD SUPERIOR DE LA BOQUILLA DE ENTRADA DE MERCURIO SE REGULA, POR ROTACION DE UN VIROLA, RESPECTO AL NIVEL DEL MERCURIO CONTENIDO EN LA CABECERA.
