THE BOTTOM PRODUCT COMING FROM THE DISTILLATION COLUMN PREFERALLY CONTAINS MOST HEAVY HYDROCARBONS THAN METHANE, WHICH WOULD OTHERWISE REDUCE THE PURITY OF THE LIQUEFIED NATURAL GAS. THE WASTE GAS FLOW FROM THE DISTILLATION COLUMN IS COMPRESSED TO A HIGHER INTERMEDIATE PRESSURE, COOLED UNDER PRESSURE TO CONDENSATE IT, AND THEN EXPANDED TO A LOW PRESSURE TO FORM THE LIQUEFIED NATURAL GAS FLOW
