Abstract

There is a need to develop new types of functional foods that improve digestive health and well-being. The present application provides a new fortified yogurt composition with both an extract from an Artemisia absinthium plant; and an extract from an Achillea millefolium plant. The fortified yogurt had a surprising beneficial flavour profile, a heightened stability and shelf life, and preliminary data which supports improvements in digestive health.
