Abstract

A connection arrangement including a pivot pin (10), a bogey (20) and a member (4) for use as part of a sliding door hinge. The member is movable relative to the pivot pin, being biased by a spring (5) from a first position to a second position. The bogey defines a cavity (20c). When the member is in its first position, a portion of the pivot pin is receivable within the cavity. When the member is in its second position, one or more spherical features (8) of the pivot pin are supported by the member and positioned to engage the bogey to resist removal of the pivot pin from the cavity. The invention seeks to minimise the use of screw threads to mitigate cross-threading during potentially awkward installation of sliding, folding, hinged doors.
