Abstract

616544 Disclosed is a water heater (10) for heating water, particularly water for a spa pool or the like. The heater (10) includes a burner assembly for generating a flow of hot gas; a heat exchanger assembly (20) arranged to receive the flow of hot gas for transferring heat from the gas to water flowing therein; ducting to conduct the water to and from the heat exchanger assembly; means (80) to collect condensate produced from condensation of the gas in the heat exchanger assembly (20); and a condensate duct (90, 93) to direct the condensate into the water for chemically treating the water.
