Abstract

An Intaglio printing ink in which the binder is an autoxidisable polyester resin with fatty acid content between 40 and 60% by weight and the preferred fatty acid is linseed fatty acid. The fatty acid has at least 25% of its chain as linolenic acid. The printing ink includes solvents and pigments and can be cured under UV irradiation to produce useful printed material on polymer substrate.
