Abstract
En eksperimentell maskin (1) for å produsere lavtemperatur kjernefusjonsreaksjoner, hvor en ionekilde (3) mater en fluks av positive deuteriumioner til et reaksjonskammer (2) som inneholder et mål (5) definert av aktive elementer (30, 31) og et aggregat av metallsulfater hydratisert med tungtvann; en pumpemontasje (4) som er tilveiebragt for å opprettholde et vakuum i reaksjonskammeret; og reaksjonskammeret har en akselerasjonsinnretning (10) for å akselerere de positive deuteriumionene og som generer elektrisk felt på innsiden av reaksjonskammeret (2) for å lede og akselerere deuteriumionene mot det aktive elementet til målet (5) på en slik måte at det initieres en kjernefusjonsreaksjon mellom det innfallende deuteriumionet og noen av atomene i det aktive elementet.
