Abstract

Foreliggende oppfinnelse angår en fremgangsmåte og et system som muliggjør at en telekommunikasjonsoperatør (12) raskt kan identifisere og på en fullstendig sikker måte debitere kontoene til abonnenter i et telefonnettverk. Fremgangsmåten omfatter følgende trinn: telekommunikasjonsoperatøren (12) utstyrer hver av sine abonnenter (11) med et abonnentkort (10), med format som et kredittkort, personalisert med identifikatorer som er spesifikke for hver abonnent og for hvert abonnentkort; nevnte kort (10), med format som et kredittkort, sender ut korte identifiserende DTMF-type lydsignaler, som ihvertfall er delvis krypterte og som er forskjellige for hver operasjon, når de aktiveres (14) av kunden (11); lydsignalene mottas av mikrofonen (17) i håndsettet (16) og konverteres til elektriske signaler før de sendes gjennom kommunikasjonsnettverket (15) til telekommunikasjonsoperatørens (12) datatjeneste (18); de transmitterte signalene prosesseres elektronisk og dekodes (24) av datamaskintjenesten (18) til telekommunikasjonsoperatøren (12) og dataene som oppnås etter prosessering sammenliknes (25) med identifikasjonsdata hos abonnenten og abonnentkortet som datatjenesten (18) til telekommunikasjonsoperatøren innehar.
