Abstract
Fremgangsmåte for å overvåke/ monitorere strømningsparametere i en rørledning, for eksempel en olje- eller gassledning, samt for å påvise dannelse av hydrat-plugger i en slik rørledning, ved hvilken man etablerer i minst ett tilkoblingspunkt på rørledningen en bølgekilde/ signalgiver som tilfører rørledningen elektromagnetiske bølger ved en eller flere frekvenser, samt at det tilkobles utstyr for å registrere refleksjoner av slike bølger samt utstyr for å tolke nevnte refleksjoner med hensyn til hvordan avstand mellom tilkoblingspunkt og refleksjonspunkt varierer med tiden, og grad av forskjell i dielektrisitetskonstant mellom mediene hvis grenseflater refleksjonene skjer fra. Det gis også anvisning på en anordning til bruk ved utøvelse av fremgangsmåten, samt på anvendelse av en slik bølgekilde og mottaker for å overvåke strømningsparametere i en rørledning.
